How to pace HYROX stations

Many athletes lose time in HYROX because they treat each station like a separate workout. They rush into the movement, spike their breathing, then spend the next run paying for it. Good station pacing is less dramatic. It is controlled, repeatable, and boring in the best way.
Before a hard circuit, choose a movement speed you can hold without breaking down. For sled push, that might mean shorter steps and steady pressure instead of one huge surge. For wall balls, it might mean sets that stop before failure. For carries, it might mean staying tall and refusing to let the shoulders collapse.
The goal is not to make every station easy. The goal is to leave each station with enough composure to run immediately. In race prep, that skill matters as much as raw strength.
